Very rarely can I look at a poster telling me how to eat healthy and go "Aww," but Healthy Food Rainbow by ~coconut-lane had me doing exactly that. Does this mean I have to lose weight now? (

I think that if they made the official food chart like this, either kids will be pressed to eat all of their "cute" veggies, fruits, and grains, or they will be reluctant to eat any of the food listed because they are too cute to eat!

I would like to disagree... human beings are omnivores, that's right. But having not also a brain but a possibility to reflect, they can be herbivores quite well.
Actually I hate all those tofu and soy stuff... it's not only very unecological (at least soy is, mostly of course not in food production), it also does not taste good. I am happy an healthy ever since.. Vegetarian lifestyle is of course not the best solution... vegan would be, but then it really is hard to live healthy, yes.
This is cute and all, but did you know the whole "healthy eating pyramid" is wrong? It was made up by packaged food companies to help make their sales. Eating bread and pasta the most is making everyone fatter - especially when we're not doing the right amount of exercise to burn it all off. (athletes don't even eat this much carbohydrate!)
Truth is, there is no "right" food pyramid. The "eat bread the most" version is wrong. A healthy eating guide depends on your age and lifestyle. Professional advice should be taken when aiming to lose weight or maintain health and well-being.
